How should pay be justified? What should the minimum wage be and what constitutes a minimum wage job?

It's literally impossible to "exploit workers for slave wages."

It's not, it happens all the time all over the world.

So if you have a person who can only produce $5 an hour in value but minimum wage is $15 an hour, that means there is no job for that person. That person has no opportunity to gain work skills to eventually be worth $15 an hour.

What you're advocating for is a system where corporations don't have to provide a living wage. This anecdotal story is nice but has no relevance in our reality. What we do see is prices going up along with corporate profits and wage stagnation because the proletariat is having their surplus value stolen from them.

You can say whatever you want but you know this is how it works, friend.
