My MIL used to comment on the size of my feet. I’m 5’5” and wear a size 8 shoe. She was 5’ and wore a size 6 as did her daughters who were under 5’. She’d go on and on about my “big” feet. I put up with it for 35 years. One day I’d had it and when she talked about my feet, I snapped. I said “yes, I’m a normal sized person so I have normal sized feet. I’m not short like you guys. I’d look ridiculous with itty bitty feet.” She never talked about my feet again. Stand up for yourself. I wish I had said something years earlier.

By the way, I have nothing against short people. My husband and my daughter are both short.
