The Human Cost of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (Schreier)

It’s always funny reading about these things on reddit when people like you say these things of America.

Here in Europe we’re doing just fine, very fine, with our unionized labor and excellent work laws, we have good pay and good working conditions.

Do you know how we got those?

We fought for them. With blood and tears. We didn’t sit around and just complain, and don’t think for a minute that back in the days when this was an issue that people had more spare money and savings so they could take time off to protest. No! There was no money. But people were sick of being mistreated and exploited by companies. So we fought, and fought and fought until the companies had no choose but to allow workers to unionize, to pay their workers fair wages, to treat them with respect.

Were there setbacks? Of course. Did people stop? No!

Only through persistence, were our holy worker rights attained.

So I ask the Americans of reddit, how long before enough is enough? How long will you sit idly by before rising up? It won’t happen of itself you know. The first spark must ignite the fire! And to keep burning, more oxygen and more material must be supplied, all the time!

So, will you step? Or, will you leap?

Good luck.
