The Perfection: Am I taking crazy pills? Is there something I'm missing?

Eh? I wouldn't go nearly that far. Especially not "so bad it's funny". There was definitely a black comedy element to the movie, so I think some of the humor and absurdity was intentional. And frankly, it did take some of the biggest story swings of any movie I've seen in a long time...

Having said that, I wouldn't call it a good movie. I didn't much care for it personally. I can't say it worked for me as a black comedy, because I rarely felt particularly amused. And I can't say it worked for me as a horror movie, since I never felt truly scared. I'm not really a sex pervert like Jay, so I guess this sort of trashy grindhouse B-movie isn't really my cup of tea. It makes perfect sense to me that he liked it.

I guess I'd describe it as clever but not much else? I dunno. It's not something I'll ever watch again.

Not trying to pick a fight about it or anything, just expressing my own opinion, since it's somewhere in between yours and those who really dug it.
