Husband and I disagree about our teen's gamings habits. Do you monitor how much time your teenager spends in front of screens?

I am not much of a gamer andmy husband is. I usually lean toward less screen time but our son is 6, so he’s not ready for self regulation though we are trying to work toward that.

I say this because even though my bias is less screen time I think you and your husband will find a hard time giving a logical reason to change your sons current time spent playing video games. He sounds to be well rounded and doing well in school. While he isn’t perhaps playing sports some people (myself included are bot sports inclined). I highly doubt by reducing his video game time he will take up a sport. If anything he would probably do more Magic The Gathering as it is another leisure activity. I would mention these issues to your husband. I think taking away something your son enjoys for no logical reason is not sending a good message.
