IAmA Video Game Tester, AMA!

This is how I am getting with computers. I fancied myself a PC gamer for a long time. I build new rigs every 3-4 years with GPU upgrades every 12-18 months. Current plan is considering going from a 980ti to a 1080ti.

Here's the thing. I work in IT. And not help desk work (although I do help cover for them when they are out for vacation/lunch). I'm a full fledged Network admin. I manage Cisco switches and firewall polices. SEPM. Domain management. Vulnerability patching. Writing up long reports anytime I do anything for change management.

And something in my snapped like a few months ago. I used to come home and get On the computer and play games. Now When I get home I look at my expensive gaming PC and feel like I want to vomit.

So I've been playing handhelds. 3DS. Excited for the Switch.

But even yet something is bugging me about that even.

I've never been an outdoors person but more and more I am starting to think of hobbies I can do that would get me outside.

Geocaching is one idea. Another idea is like Drone photography/cinematography (taking sweet nature/city/industrial shots from a nice drone and camera rig).

I don't know. I'm only 5 years into my IT career and man- it's getting burned out on technology as a hobby.
