My brother threw hot water on the biggest bully known to us. The guy had it coming, as I'd already had stitches due to his actions.

The hot water came from pipes that were in the sun all day. It would have been annoying, but nothing further, an uncommon 'joke' we'd seen played.

So after the bully was splashed with about 6oz of this water, he decided to retaliate. He goes into the school's kitchen, places boiling water in a cup, and begins to hunt my brother down.

You can see where this is going. I was minding my own business, when suddenly I feel boiling water on back. I thrashed around, had people take my shirt off, and then rushed to the emergency room for a nasty second degree burn that had my back bubbling.

Not awkward, but a story.
