I think career, frankly. Emotionally, I have what it takes to find a great partner and I have what it takes to make a great relationship work. I don't have the resources and comfort of a perfect career (at the moment) to give me the emotional bandwidth to necessarily give my perfect spouse the attention the relationship deserves, though.

Besides, every relationship I've ever been in has taught me I know little about the capacity for wonder from people and I think my life-long partner will be better than even my wildest dreams. Even though those relationships ended for good reason, I've learned a lot about love by being shown. I know the right person for me is out there, I'll find her soon, and the search is rewarding.

Getting my career in order is also hard work but the work is much more stressful.
