Illegal immigrant is a slur

Yes and another thing that grieves me in the U.S. is the blatant laziness, no one is illegal being somewhere is not illegal laws are for the most part bullshit. Where I live is illegal to share a hamburguer or eat ice cream walking backwards.

The way I mean laziness is this, whites are Americans, son of immigrants are (insert country) american and blacks are african american. Since the U.S. is kind of a bastardization of what a nationality is you feel the need to push Immigrants found in the gray area for obtaining citizenship a label that is hurtful. You could simply refer to immigrant as the country they are born into, you know like Mexico or Guatemala or whatever instead of lumping them all in. Furthermore saying illegal immigrant implies there are good and bad ones. Is the good immigrant one that was an all star in China got his student then work visa but is fully committed to steal as much information to take back home better than a family of 4 who came here to work hard to survive like the original immigrants?

If the nationalist dip shit who control speech in this country were in power 250 years ago the U.S. wouldn't be what it is today.

If more Americans were not simply monolingual they'd hear the story of fresh immigrants of why they come, from being black listed for murder, to not being able to feed their family, there are also the children found in that gray area and the parents who brought them here for a better life.

So yeah you are condemning from 1-80 year olds who's dream was to feel what your ancestors felt when they came to America instead they hear how they are criminals because discrimination based on prejudice got signed into law.
