I'm burnt out on tipping.

In Canada tipping culture is also as huge but the only difference is that servers make standard minimum wage of wherever they reside in. It’s actually getting ridiculous. I get the you have to tip out the back and out of pocket if you aren’t getting tipped enough. I also get and tip very generously if someone was working at a pub or just a fast paced environment which in IMO they deserve all the tip they can get. But what I don’t get is high end servers who does the bare minimum, getting paid above the minimum wage and getting tip no less than 20% of the bill. (My husband works in the industry, he tells me the amount of $$$ these high end servers get.) Therefore, my stance on tipping in Canada is only catered to those “lower” end restaurants. I also hate feeling bad pressing no tip at the bakery when they just packed my goods…… Don’t get me started on gratuity for 2 people….
