Physician Associate Students

I've had a PA student shadow me, just remember they're human as well and aren't caught up in this PA vs Doctor type battle we always talk about here. They're likely a 20 year old who couldn't get into med school so picked what they could.

(I just think back to some of the rotations I was totally ignored on in med school and it was almost like torture)

So it's fantastic that you're prioritizing the med students etc and this is what you should do but just keep in mind they're just a young PA student who is likely keen to learn from a doctor and probably idolizes you to some degree.

I usually hit first line stuff with the PAs but always push the med students in a meaningful way - aka acute scenario decision making.
