I see a lot of comments where people are saying it doesn’t matter if you’re ugly when you have a good personality because people will still want to be around you .. but it’s not about that. Personally, this rationality irks me because it doesn’t take away from people still finding you objectively ugly or plain. The whole point is that you want to feel attractive, not like people are tolerating your ugliness because you’re cool. There’s nothing inherently wrong with being ugly because like a previous comment said, not everyone can win the genetic lottery. Although I know this, it still hurts especially when I’ve struggled with my self-esteem my whole life and physical appearance has always been a big deal to me for some reason.
