IMG Megathread VII

Hello everyone and sorry for the weird title but im not a native speaker and am very tired to think of anything creative.

Im an international medical student with a scholarship in an English speaking degree at an Eastern European country.

Reading most of this subreddit's 'rants' , researching stuff about salary, career progression etc,and talking with a few standalone FY2 international folks I've come to the realisation that all the hassle of orienting a future to the NHS is not so worth it.

Bear with me, I'm gonna need your opinion or suggestion, but since im in 4th year(out of total 6) i have time in front of me to learn a new language and since I've read all these hardships regarding NHS i started considering Germany as an option. When talking with people that moved from the UK to Germany and vice versa, I've gathered a lot of pros/cons and it seems that Germany comes on top in most aspects when compared to the UK(i.e salary, job opportunities, compensation of extra work etc)

Going back to my country is a no-no and since most people here are from the UK i understand that the NHS made more sense to you but if you were me ,meaning only language is the thing you need to consider, and you have a clean slate to start residency in a seemingly better place than UK , Germany. Would you do it ?

Im just asking for your 2 cents since im in a crossroad and its not too late for me to set up my future. Sarcastic comments are welcomed as well.

Thanks in advance
