Indigenous woman from B.C. dead after police shooting in Edmundston, N.B.

There's no video of it, sorry if people are a bit skeptical at the moment given that cops have been shown time and time again to abuse their power, even while they are aware they are being filmed. Especially in the current climate.

Until I see video proof that she actually charged him with a weapon, I don't buy their story. Why automatically assume the cops are telling the truth? Obviously they will avoid looking bad. And we can't get the other side of the story.

Cops need bodycams, period. Would remove all doubt. This is why it's newsworthy. Cops shoot and kill citizens and we just shrug it off like it's nothing, because we just assume the cops aren't lying and they were justified.
