Issues with the Doom Beta on PC

And you saying that they need to limit the framerate to 60 so they can have the same tick rate on the server and client all match just reads like they are a bunch of cheap cunts who only want to run 60 tick rate servers.

Every online game does this (within reason, eg turn based game but then fps doesn't really matter for those games does it), so if you want to call everyone that for doing that then sure go ahead.

You've been talking about network latency and netcode when other people are demanding higher framerates for INPUT latency, they want their controls and mouse aim to feel responsive.

Yes i've already covered this, if they want that they would need to use a variable time step delta for the logic. Which will just create more problems for network games. They aren't going to create two different methods to accommodate other people's preferences. So much extra work would be involved to have two different methods. Who knows if a development team trying to do that would even be able to complete the game. People always seem to forget that, you still have to make the game. It could just fail at that step and you'd never see the game.

Must be some very low quality pixelated racing games then.

Valve lowered the tickrate of cs go to 128 and people complain that it's not enough.

People complain about a lot everything, even when there is no difference. Wouldn't be surprised if it were people with 60hz monitors.
