I've have seen many people say hunters are fine and balanced, but I have yet to find anyone back their statements with facts

2.2 kd hunter main with 20k goldie kills. I feel that hunters are (more specifically golden gun) are perfectly fine. To begin, hunters have the best pvp jump in the game. Titan and Warlock jump don't even come close anymore. Walked off a cliff and wanna get back up? GG titans and warlocks. The hunter jump has so much great potential for juke and aerial out plays, especially when used with STOMP-EE5.

The neutral game of hunters is VERY strong due to the class ability. When I first saw what the hunter class ability was compared to the other two I thought it was going to suck, but the shadestep dodge has saved my life too many times to count. Throw in the invisibility and smoke bombs from a night stalker and the neutral game is amazing. Smokes and tethers showing on the radar? I can't tell you how many people hardscope a corner with their MIDA thinking I'm coming around when they are just staring at a snare.

So hunters have a great jump and great neutral game, but I'll concede that two of the three supers are lacking. Golden gun is great and one of the supers in the game I'm most fearful of the enemy using, especially in trials. Arcstrider is a joke, it's just way too slow. Tether needs a buff in activation time, I see even more people getting super kills while tethered than I did in D1.

My only gripe with hunters is that the mobility stat, a stat we naturally have more of, is for the most part entirely useless. Mobility needs to become much more important or hunters need to be able to spec out of it like the two other classes.

Overall I think hunters are perfectly fine balance wise, they serve a different purpose than the other two classes and therefore have different strengths and weaknesses.
