[John Shannon] Hearing the NHL and PA have had preliminary talks about next season. One proposal is to create 4 bubble cities, and rotating all 31 teams in those venues in 8 game increments. At present, there’s no indication if all the cities would be in Canada. But makes the most sense.

They line up mostly, but there are some exceptions, but you could blow up the divisions for a year.

Do what they do with high school football here. Lower level teams play the 9:00 and 12:30 slots. Higher level plays the 4:00 and 7:30 slots. So it's the same schedule for the AHL and NHL.

So if you have VGK vs Oilers and Kings vs Flames in the prime time slots, then you have Henderson Silver Knights vs Bakersfield condors and Stockton heat vs Ontario Reign.

I don't know how many AHL players would want to play in a bubble. And this would also mean each bubble would need to accommodate 16 teams. So maybe my plan isn't fully fleshed out. But I'm spit ballin here.
