Judge orders Cincy-area hospital to treat COVID-19 patient with Ivermectin, despite warnings

Doesn't matter, it will never happen.

Nurses will refuse any order to administer a dangerous medication. Contrary to popular belief nurses can't just say 'oh the doctor told me to', they are responsible for knowing if administering a drug is safe or not.

Pharmacists will refuse to dispense it or sign off on its use as safe, same as with nurses, they are responsible for refusing orders they know are dangerous, illegal or not in accordance with standard practice.

Medicare will never pay for this medication. Medicare will not pay the hospital for any service connected to this medication.

No insurance company will pay for this medication. No insurance company will pay the hospital for any service connected to this medication.

For any licenced professional who has to come in contact with or sign off on use of this medication in the hospital (including administrators) their personal liability insurance will never cover ANY claim resulting from them allowing this medication to be administered in their facility or under their licence.

If the patient actually is injured a blizzard of lawsuits will start, so legal will never allow it to happen in the hospital.

If the patient dies they are all fucked.
