Ignoring religion, when do YOU personally feel a fetus is a person. I'm not trying to argue against any of what you said or disagree with you, I just think it is a tough question to think about. When is a fetus a baby/human? Is it not a human until it is alive and out of the mother? At what point does it cross the threshold? Third trimester? Is a fetus who has been in the womb for 9 months but not yet birthed still not a human? Should abortions be allowed without medical reason at 8.5 months?

It is truly a fascinating subject to me, especially considering it seems like no real scientific progress has been made in the past 30-40 years of debating it. We still seem to be at the same point as we've always been, where no one can agree as to what point a fetus becomes sentient. At what point should voluntary non medical abortion be denied (if any)?
