just dropped out of school yesterday from studying Construction Engineering as a sophomore. I completed two internships while at University with big GCs while in Boston. what are my options or any advice? I want to be in the construction industry. In 15-20 years I want to own a company.

I would recommend going to be a labor for awhile and learn the trade of whatever company you wanna own, ask the boss the inside and outs what the budget looks like, how he bids jobs, which job gets picked vs not, just try to soak up as much as you can since he’s in the position you wanna be in. Everyone is telling you to go back to school but in reality to be a business owner college degree doesn’t mean shit. Knowing the ends and outs plus knowing how the labors operates and what they need to complete the job is what going to make you a different boss vs a guy never worked as a labor but is qualified on paper usually doesn’t get much respect on the job site from what I have experienced
