I have just finished my 1st undergrad after 10 years

Congratulations! I spent 10 years working may way through college from 1973-1983. It was very hard! Sometimes I was embarrassed about how long it was taking. But I got maximum benefit from it and I am still working in the technology field I studied.

I have met a lot of people since then and I can't think of one of them who tells this story. What you did is very unusual. Most people try to find an easier path and then complain about how it didn't get them very far.

You have a significant competitive advantage over other people, and not just because you have a degree. You have qualities like determination, foresight and integrity. I predict you will have a very interesting and fulfilling life from here. Good luck to you.
