Woah. Your situation sounds exactly like how my parents were 1-2 years ago. They've always had a rocky, rocky relationship. Like, describing it from beginning to beginning to how they are now would be in a length of a book.

My dad was similar to yours, he just honestly did and said a lot of sh*tty things. When they brought up divorce, like you, I felt partly guilty, but still content that they would finally be away from each other and Mom and I wouldn't have to deal with him any more. Our lives would changed if it did, for better or worse? I'm not sure.

Do not feel guilt for wanting happiness and being pleased by the idea of an actual divorce. Can I ask how your father acting like that? Is he being abusive to you and/or your other parent?

It sucks so bad that children, teens, just any family regardless stuck in a situation like these have to experience it...
