Scientists are the new priests. Think about it for a while. They are just people waiting on a check. They aren't privy to some special knowledge that is inaccessible.

People lap it up though. Whenever some scientists say something then they believe it no question.

Climate change is almost a no brainer though. Think about it, without some scientists trying to convince you about it you wouldn't even think about it all.

It is just a scam and they are using peoples faith in science to sell it. Reading through your post makes me sad, how can you think that a scam can't happen? Do you think that 'good scientists' would battle against the scammers just to make sure you aren't fooled? Why do you think the scientific world is incorruptable? Do you follow the trail of funding for most all studies? I doubt you do because quickly it becomes obvious that "science" is whatever the money wants. It really is that simple. They are there to fuck with P values until they can sell the product. It's that simple really, and it works perfectly. In fact here you are defending them. You have to admit the brainwashing runs deep. You might never truly question climate change. I know it, cause I used to be like you.
