All the ABCDs had their own clique and felt they were "too white" to be desis. The girls would say they would never date a brown guy.

Always felt that way here. There are a few good ones. You'll come across them. I guarantee you.

On the other hands all the FOBs were exactly like them in that they only hung out with other desi immigrants and made fun of the ABCDs for not "being desi and cultural". They would make fun of ABCDs for dating outside of the race. And it really pissed me off. Like cant we just get along?

I saw the opposite actually, the FOBs I came across were pretty self-hating and wanted to seem white because they thought it was cool. Always hated it. What I discovered was that you'll find self-hating a proud heritage kinds of people in both FOBs and ABCDs. You just need to look for it.
