Justice Dept. to Take On Affirmative Action in College Admissions

He specifically says the wage and not "below the poverity line" which would be a better classification since that takes into account what the cost of living is.

I haven't read the study, maybe it did control for the cost of living. I'm sure there are multiple studies on this topic. If you're going to argue with the data presented specifically, you should cite the study specifically. The burden of proof is on you to either find a flaw in the study or point to other studies that challenge the data. If you cannot do this then you should assume the data is accurate for the purpose of discussion.

And his argument that blacks see the government sympathetically. What is he talking about. Blacks hate the government. They are punished more severely for the same crimes as whites.

Well you're talking about law enforcement, aren't you? If you're talking about blacks and their relation to the government, they benefit more than others from job programs/welfare. Even D'Souza says that blacks switched their voter base to the Democratic party specifically because of job creation programs and welfare programs.

Also, you claim that blacks are targeted by law enforcement because of the color of their skin. Well isn't there also the component that blacks generally live in poorer neighborhoods with more crime? Take race away and any impoverished area is going to have more arrests, more violent crime, etc.
