Justin Shields, Cincinnati Police: Arrested For DUI: BODYCAM: Tried To Use Badge To Get Away

I'm not real big on shaming people because of their DUI bodycam footage because I'm sure as shit not proud of mine. On top of that, he mentions he is a cop when he's first pulled over and flashes his badge, probably as a way to deter the officer, but other than that it's not egregious. He doesn't ask to be let off or anything. He mentions a few times that he knows how this goes because he is an LEO, but it doesn't come across to me as trying to be let off for that reason.

That said, I'm always glad when the penalties apply to LE as well as everyone else. Also, I found the PBT refusal to be very interesting. I expected the officer to give him some leeway, but he did not at all. He offered him a PBT, it was rejected. Then the officer initiated the arrest, at which point he said he would, in fact, take the test. The officer proceeded to give him additional field tests but never again gave him the ability to take the PBT. Really shows how literally these officers take refusal.
