'Have you killed any men today... if not, why not?' Feminist author Clementine Ford's sick note to a fan inside a copy of her latest book

Do you think that it is somehow acceptable to talk about murdering men in a way that it would be unacceptable to talk about murdering Jews?

No.

And I find it quite insulting that you felt needed to ask this. And you admit that you intended it to be an insulting question here:

I would argue that the only reason anyone would think that such talk of murdering men is any more acceptable than talk of murdering Jews would be abject bigotry.

In other words, you are asking me if I am an "abject bigot" because you think there's some pretty good odds that I am. Do you think the term "abject bigot" is flattering? Because it's not: it's an insult.

An you shouldn't have felt the need to ask that anyways. I have already said that I don't support any of CF's actions here, yet you still felt the need to ask if I support her actions. Which I already answered. So I'm pretty sure you aren't actual reading my words in good faith at all.

One of the most frustrating aspects of my experiences on this sub is how frequently people make absolutely horrible and unfair assumptions about my viewpoints and motives based on their pen anti-feminist biases. Enough people just want to burn me effigy as the avatar of their worst biased opinions of feminism, instead of actually talking to me-- it's unfair and annoying. Why can't you try talking to people you think you might disagree with in good faith, instead of assuming they are evil based on your own assumptions?
