"Kotaku: In 2018 Tumblr Is A Joyless Black Hole" or "Tumblr is now Problematic" or "We Have Ouroboros. Repeat, We Have Ouroboros"

Yes, you can raid 4chan. But normally it's 4chan that raids 4chan.

I'm specifically thinking of the very early brony nonsense on 4chan that was supposed to be taken as a joke/troll. Then it people actually started genuinely posting pony memes everywhere, while the mods and admin failed to recognize that they were in the middle of a fandom actually being born. The more ponies started getting posted, the more a flamewars broke out, and the more restricted mods started to get about posting ponies. Eventually they assumed it was the most ridiculous and viral troll that was going on with the site, and they bannned on all MLP related material site wide for some time. The actual bronies went about setting up alternative chans, forums, and websites after that, and the mods actually released a message saying they had misjudged what was going on as a troll turned into a real-life-no-shit-fandom.

I'd argue it would be about as crazy as Kekistan forming a real country.
