Hm. I agree it’s certainly possible that “some plastic surgeon might waive THEIR fee”… The issue with that is it isn’t going to just be a 1 time thing like a cleft palate or something straight forward & appears like it would be a HIGH RISK SURGERY & they would want the BEST DR POSSIBLE. Not to mention it would likely REQUIRE MANY DR’s/surgeons, FROM MANY DIFFERENT FIELDS. It will also most likely take YEARS, MANY surgeries, & likely many days in a hospital. So they would also need the hospital, the rehab clinic, meds, after care, & whoever else to ALL WAIVE THEIR FEES, etc etc…

I’m not mentioning any of that just to be a dick or anything, I mentioned it bc THIS FAMILY NEEDS ALL THE HELP THEY CAN GET & clearly nobody has stepped up so far in all the years this poor kid & family has been living/suffering with it, so it doesn’t seem like anyone is in any hurry to do that. I really just don’t want anyone to get the impression that it could be SOLVED BY 1 PLASTIC SURGEON WAIVING THEIR FEE. Bc it would probably require A TEAM of Dr’s, surgeons, neurologists, nurses, to waive their fees & that still wouldn’t include things like rehab, medications, follow-ups, time off from work for the mom, etc, etc & minimizing how complicated & costly it would be could dissuade some ppl from helping out when clearly this kid & family could use all the help they can get…
