Kushner arrives in Israel, visits family of officer killed in terror attack

I'm not agreeing that Zionism includes all of those things that you spoke of. But let's for a minute say that it does.

What would be the difference between saying "I'm a Zionist" vs saying "I'm a proud American"?

The US was founded on its own form ethnic cleansing, murder, gang rape, etc. And yet, it's perfectly fine to say "I'm proud to be an American" (you all have a hundred songs about it, ffs). If all those things you said are true, then seems to be the only difference would be time. Considering the native Americans were cleansed hundreds of years ago and so it feels distant.

All of that is assuming I even agree that Zionism includes all of those things, which I don't. I still believe Zionism was and always will be a noble cause. We all know the history of this area. It could have been split. That compromise was offered in 1947. But it was denied and it was met with hostility and with a war. A war which we won fairly and on our own. So these are the results and we aren't about to apologize.

Look, the way I see it, weve been murdered and chased and shit on for mileniums. Finally, we have a government and a military. If the cost of these necessities is having a few internet warriors talk shit about is, then believe me, we'll take that deal any day of the week.
