Largest study ever from University of Bath: 56% of young adults worldwide aged 16-25 think humanity is doomed, with over 45% who said it negatively affects their daily life, and 39% hesitant to have children because of it

As someone in their 50s this is decision I made and no regrets. Most of my friends have children and that's their choice, but I couldn't imagine dooming another life into this hellhole of inequality and primal hatred that humans show for each other and the utter disregard for others around the world and the future civilization. The number of people obsessed with their silly fantasy gods and silly sacred texts and sports teams and silly ultra-nationalism. The past 100 years of scientific study and advancement have shown we're all very interdependent upon each other to survive. There is no "me" or libertarian fantasy of surviving alone. We all depend upon each other and my actions/choices have impact on the actions/choices of people around the world and future humans. We have incredible minds as humans, especially when we cooperate together to use them in a combined way. But the primal parts of our brain are so powerful and hard to get out of amygdala and fear-driven circuits. Those are very easy to prey upon by conmen and opportunists and social media/technology makes it so easy to prey on all of us.
