Well, most of Kurds i know can't speak Kurdish, especially young generation. Recently the leader of Kurdish political party Demirtaş blamed Turkey for that he can't speak Kurdish properly. Also the ones who knows Kurdish very well, use it as a spoken language. So yes i agree, we couldn't wipe Kurdish identity of Kurds. But it's not necessary. I give you an example: The gypsies also have one of the strongest identity in Turkey. They have been isolated from society for almost 1000 years. They lost everything about their original culture in India. But they still exist as Gypsies. This is also the correct path for Kurds. However the main difference between Gypsies and Kurds, Gypsies don't have majority in any town, city, region. So it was so easy to control them. Now we should also make Kurds minority in Kurdish majority towns starting from Diyarbakır. Turkey is so small considered to world population and there are many poor countries in the world. We can always use immigration to change demographics of Turkey. The Netherlands have 20% of immigrant population. Imagine 80 * 0.20 = 16 million immigrants... Educated ones can stay in developed cities, ignorants and bigots can be send to Kurdish majority areas.
