It’s not unreasonable. All those things were real private sector problems that were resistant to all the private sector solutions tried and were only solved by government intervention after the numbers of people who supported regulation became overwhelming.

Just like anarchist point to every government failure to reinforce what they already believe about government, progressives and liberals(and even some conservatives) point to every private sector failure to reinforce what they already believe about the private sector.

It will take time to change opinions. And it will take better behavior on behalf of capitalist.

Average people can talk theory all day...but if that theory involves letting capitalist do whatever they want...and those capitalist do bad shit...your theory will be rejected
