You know absolutely nothing about the human brain and psychiatry yet here you are, not only spouting out your nonsensical opinions about it, but also throwing chemicals that significantly alter it.

You talk a lot about psychology, but not psychiatry and neurology, so from what I can tell, you don't actually care about the actual provable physical essence of what these mental states represent.

You argue that psychadelics cause people to perceive what is happening to them as real even when it isn't, yet you turn around say a bad trip is nothing but a nightmare.

You don't even know what you believe! You spout statements then state completely contrary things in the next breath! Then you complain about anecdotal evidence while shoving your entire arguments with them! "Well I had a bad trip and it wasn't that bad therefore bad trips can't traumatically impact other people!"

You completely ignore proven neurological phenomena because apparently your experience knows better. Then you go out on tangents that have nothing to do with the argument, as if your only crux is trying to have the last word in an argument, regardless if it's relevant or even negates the point made!

Bettering yourself is doing things that advance one's position in life. Becoming dependent on artifical chemical stimuli to your brain to combat your problems is not bettering yourself. Ignoring potential dangers and making up as many excuses as possible to avoid discussing them, is not bettering yourself. Diverting your time and effort into altering your state of mind rather than focusing on improving yourself, is not bettering yourself.

Look at your post history. You are fixated and obsessed with nothing but trying to change your waking mind. You call that bettering yourself? Perhaps you should think about that the next time you try to escape, because that is really what you're doing. You can't stand the actual reality, you speak of not taking psychadelics with disdain, that's what gives it away. You disdain life before using mind altering substances to escape from it.
