Yeah, it's just that movies depict them as mindless beasts hell bent of eating humans. Lions don't even get that depiction, they got Lion King while sharks get so many films that make them look evil. Humans just invade their homes and act surprised when a few incidence of sharks "attacking" people come up. A great white has the ability to kill an adult man on just impact if they were hunting, similar force to a school bus running into someone, yet so many people survive the "attacks." I do feel bad for people who get hurt by sharks, I really do, but these weren't animals trying to kill them, they're just much more powerful than people are.

Sharks are incredibly fascinating but unfortunately incredibly misunderstood.

I just love sharks, they're really cool.
