Love is Blind Brazil S1E7 Megathread

I just watched that scene right now and that really irritated me.

What people don't understand is that working in beauty is probably one of the most stable industries you could work in. There are always, always, always going to be people willing to pay money for a skilled professional to do a good job on their hair, skin, nails etc, so that they can feel confident about how they look. It is a totally legitimate career choice that will keep you in business.

Besides that, why is it always men who don't have much shit going for themselves who want to rag on womens' career choices? I'm not a huge Shay stan, I think he's kind of weird in his own ways, but he's not saying dismissive shit about Ana being a model for a living and that's because he's too busy running his carpet business to gaf, he's bringing a stable income to the table all on his own. Thiago is a skydive instructor for a living, which is fine if that's your calling but stay in your lane and don't comment on anyone else "not having a real job".
