Talking trash is where Bliss went wrong

That's not talking trash. She was literally just telling the truth.

Personally, I'm really tired of this kind of advice to women. "Be perfect, be docile, pretend you don't observe shitty behaviour". To me, it's not really honest. I think there are men out there who don't want that but for smarter women, those are not the kinds of men you want... you want a guy you can be fully yourself with, including perceptive and smart.

First of all, Zack has a lot of childhood trauma he clearly hasn't resolved. He chose Irina based off of that, so he was never going to choose correctly anyway. Secondly, he does not know what to value, so he was never going to choose correctly. Thirdly, clearly he has terrible judgment/perception of people, and like Bliss said, that's a major turn off for anyone who is perceptive. Wouldn't you want to make sure your partner has good judgment? Marriage and relationships involve (unfortunately) sometimes coming across not so great people, and you want to know your partner knows who is like that. I think that's why social awareness is such a valued trait for both genders.
