Low stakes conspiracy: one of the main reasons missionaries are asked to wear name tags is that their mission presidents can't remember most of their names

Those are all good things. I think one thing that is important to keep in mind is that your sex drive is probably as high as its ever going to be right now. Mine dropped off quite a bit after my early twenties and I don't think about sex half as much as I used to. But it is different for everyone.
This is also probably an un-kosher opinion amongst church members, but If you were my son, I would say masturbation is not a good habit to have. But you can use it as a tool to avoid far greater evil. If the urges are completely outside your control, try to direct those urges towards the least harmful thing. And then just pick yourself up, don't feel ashamed, try to learn something from the experience, and just move on.
Now, I'm not necessarily telling you that you should try this. But it is what has worked best for me. I am just hopeful that this concept might give you some new ideas or perspectives. When you view every single toe step out of line as an egregious and disgusting mistake, that will just compound the issues you are facing. Learning to let go of the shame and work towards actual progress is the key. At least it was for me.
I think a lot about the people whom Christ interacted with during his last 24 hours of mortality. Whether it was Judas who betrayed him, Peter, his chief apostle, who denied him, Pilot who condemned him to die, or the Roman soldiers who nailed his hands and feet to the cross. I know the love and tender feelings that Jesus had for each of them did not waver or flicker for even a moment. Even as Judas planted that deceitful kiss on his cheek. Or as the soldiers drove the nails through his flesh. Or precious Peter, who had walked with the Lord for 3 years, said he never knew Him. He loved them. And what he was doing in dying and suffering was for them. If Pilot and those soldiers were the only people on earth, he would have done it all just for them. That is amazing to me.
Jesus said, "I came not to condemn the world, but that the world through me might be saved." He didn't die for your condemnation and fear. He died the most agonizing death so that he can stand by your side and fight for you and with you through everything. He is on your side. He knows how hard these temptations are for you. If you make it to the celestial kingdom and live with him eternally, its not going to be because you did X Y and Z in this life, or didn't make mistakes A B and C. If you make it, its going to be because you want it and because you trust Him. I don't believe Christ will be standing at the doors kicking people out on judgement day. I believe he will look each of us in the eye and say, "Please stay. Don't go. I can help you get there. The road ahead is still very long. But we can make it together." He won't lose anyone who doesn't want to be lost. He'll go after every lost sheep and bring them back. He loved us enough to die for us. He loves us so much that he literally defeated death so we can live forever. He did the impossible. He did it for us. He did it for you.
