[MAIN SPOILERS] What if I told you, that if you stop dissecting the show so hard and screaming plot armor = no suspense, you'd enjoy the show more?

You're complaining about complainers well I CAN COMPLAIN TOO

The story is moving along too neatly. The last few twists were unsurprising or badly done. Here's a breakdown:

  • Bran story - great, some of the best i've watched. Seriously well done directing, storytelling, and it had IMPACT. The twist i mean. Let's see how it ends.

  • Sansa actually escapes and gets to Jon, with Brienne and Pod. Pretty stellar, wasn't expecting it.

  • Dany gets captured and semi-rescued as she just ends up conquering the same old convenient way. Flies dragons and gives inspirational pointless speeches. Saves the day by burning stuff down. Finally the Masters conflict is resolved-ish after what, two seasons?

  • Jon gets revived by Melisandre. Not exactly a shocker. No consequences whatsoever he's just a bit broodier.

  • He does go along with Sansa and move for Winterfell though so that's pretty neat.

  • Arya leaves the Faceless Men and moves for Winterfell too. This was unexpected and rewarding, Arya breaks from her trauma and finally decides to go back to her home and be Arya again, except... it was so so badly executed. As we all know.

  • BotB. Amazing directing, cinematography, etc. Really good technically. Loved it. But so predictable at points. The Littlefinger save,Ramsay's ironical death by dog... Jon's tactical skills could've been given a highlight but he just acted as a fool. I think a shift in the Northerners loyalty or an actually unexpected savior would've been more satisfying. Bite me.

All that's left now is Kings Landing... high expectations, because it really has been the location with the most tension going on. Something's going to blow up... and if it's the literal blow up we're expecting, i dont mind at all, i'd love it, i just want it to be well done and make sense.

Shoutout to Jamie's character development though. Best thing they wrote the whole season, for me anyway.
