I think Allicent hates her because she was in love with her. I remember at the beginning of the season during that scene in the room with all the candles, it kept showing Allicent staring at Rhaenyra while she was praying or whatever. To me it was 100% an eye fucking but maybe I’m wrong idk.

I haven’t read the book so maybe that interpretation is wrong but to me it makes sense, she would see Rhaenyra’s fornication not just as a betrayal but as proof that her love is unrequited.

I just find it hard to believe she’d care so much at the time about Rhaenyra fucking around. I definitely think the kids now take precedence for adult Allicent though.
