I know some people (friends of friends) who are members of his club or whatever it is in New Jersey, and have been for many years. I don't know their politics, but I remember during the election them offering to take a group of people there but saying "hey if you don't like him, we get it, we don't need to go there," so very polite. They said that they had run into him a few times during their years of going there and that he was always very polite and friendly and seemed genuinely excited to see people.

I've always thought that was interesting- big, terrible, horrible, stain on US history that he will turn out to be, he apparently is (can be) charismatic.
