Marcus Smart flings himself out of bounds trying to draw a foul

Yea this shit has gotten so out of hand lol

Its kinda fascinating tho how much pagentry and acting has become part of the game. I fucking hate it, but its interesting. You reward behavior its going to happen more frequently, that parts pretty simple, i.e. the 'theyre gonna do whatever it takes to gain an advantage' thing. So yea i guess you cant blame the athletes, even tho jesus christ dont you have some integrity and pride? Dont you want to win because you were more skilled or more determined or smarter, not because you faked it pretty well and got the call? Idk to each their own but id rather lose being physical and genuine than floppin around like im fucking Kevin hart trying to guard shaq. Also basketball is the hardest sport to officiate imo but as many have said, you just gotta come down hard on flopping. I'd rather see a more physical game across the board and have a few real fouls missed than watch marcus smart get sniped and have a siezure, or ticky tack wacky inflatable arm harden throw his limbs at people and shoot 20 free throws a game. Call T's on every flop. Dont call falls on whistle baiting plays. Fine absurd amounts of money. Yea theyre gonna appeal. Yea itll fuck up the games at first.Players will adapt. They adapted to your allergic to contact itchy whistle lips, i think they will adapt to a more physical game just fine. Once flopping isnt effective, it will go away. I hate the 'you cant call that all game' bullshit. Uh, yes you can. Youre not going to lose your fan base because a week of games are slogged down or ugly. Get the fuck over it.

Tldr: Malace at the Palace reoccurence prevention officiating has snowballed into 95th percentile supreme athletes acting like well.. pussies.
