The medicine "remdesvir" worked on a patient in Czech republic. The patient that is treated by it was disconnected from pulmonary device.

The drug is remdesivir and it is currently in very promising clinical trials for coronavirus. It was originally developed as a treatment for ebola. Doctors have administered remdesivir plus a plasma transfusion from someone who had coronavirus and has the antibodies in their blood. This treatment has cured patients in China where remdesivir is currently being tested. I think the oldest patient they cured with this regime was about 100 years old. I really hope this could be a universal cure and if so, it will probably get FDA approval just before a coronavirus vaccine is developed. My guess is a year and a half for a vaccine and possibly a year (give or take a few months) for this drug's trials to be complete.
