I found a small way to make money during this holiday event. Sorry if this has been posted before - I don’t normally visit this subreddit. I just figured I’d share it with everyone.

Since you basically get candy canes (CC’s) for doing the activities you would already be doing, I consider them a “free” resource.

For 20 CC’s and 100 bells you can make a jingle checked sofa. The sofa sells for 220 bells, netting you a profit of 120 bells per sofa, which translates to 6 bells per CC. I haven’t found any holiday event items with a better CC to Bell ratio than that (though I admit I just skimmed through doing quick mental math). The sofas also don’t take long at all to craft - just 1 minute!

Figured I’d share this in case anyone else is a little strapped for cash (cough forever indebted to Giovanni cough).

It’s not much but every bit helps. If you manage one sofa a day for the next 35 days of the event you can make 4200 bells which isn’t an insignificant amount.

TL;DR you can earn a profit of 120 bells per holiday event jingle checked sofa.
