Men of Reddit: If a random girl you've never met before started talking to you so she could flirt/make a move on you, how could she do it without coming off as creepy or desperate?

I guess I'm one of those bitchy no-fun women because this is how I feel. There isn't a single scenario in the world where I want an unknown man to hit on me. Any man who approaches me on the street and plows forward with his pickup line despite my obvious disinterest is on my shit list.

Why does me existing as a woman make (a small minority of) men think they are entitled to stop me for a "compliment" and be received warmly? Just because a few women do like it?

You can't know what a total stranger wants. It's better to flirt with people im scenarios where you can feel out of they're into you or not. It's one thing of you and a girl on the bus are giving each other smiles. Not a single one my catcallers did that simple test to gauge my interest.
