Hey guys! I've never actually owned an Xbox so I apologize if this thread is the wrong place for this question. Admittedly, I have always owned Sony and Nintendo consoles and stopped following the X1 after the E3 it was announced. With the recent price drop however, I'm wondering what your opinion is of how things will play out in the coming months. I'm considering buying an S since its not that much more expensive than the regular X1, but would likely trade it in at some point for a Scorpio (I plan to do the same with my PS4 when the Neo drops).

With that said, is August the time to buy an S or does Black Friday remain my better option? If I knew the price difference from now until November would only be ~$50, I'd have no issue with being an early adopter. A $100+ price difference would definitely give me some buyer's remorse (or maybe not, depending how much I play it). As someone who knows little about the X1, other than there are some exclusives I'm really interested in playing, what do you guys recommend?
