So this appointment was 10 years ago but if I remember right she said I couldn't have a yeast infection because I didn't have a period yet. Her follow-up was that I was itchy/burny (I believe the complaint that prompted the appointment was "it burns when I wipe") because I was not bathing well enough. I remember an at least 10 minute conversation of her basically walking me through the steps of wetting a washcloth and cleaning my genitals and then telling me to shower "at least every 4 days" but I was already showering every other day so I was just confused and mortified, thinking I was one of those kids who didn't know how to shower and just stank anyways.
