Might be moving to Fargo from Long Beach, CA. Any tips?

For context I moved here from Chicago.

It is cheap, (I pay $900 for a large two bedroom apartment with washer, dryer, and heated underground parking,) but has no public transit comparable to any actual city. The road infrastructure is shit.

Trains regularly delay north south traffic for 10 minutes at a time, multiple times a day.

The downtown is, maybe 5 blocks on a side and then the rest is suburban waste land full of chain restaurants, chain stores and single family homes. Food is cheap and taxes are low.

Comments about the weather are extremely over stated. It is cold and it snows, but it is sunny and bright.

No one walks anywhere, and drunk driving is super common.

It is a extremely conservative, support for Trump is very high, it is very, very white. If you are a darker skinned person you will definitely get noticed.

The food is... uninspiring. The Mexican, Chinese, Thai and Indian restaurants are... passable, at best. Oh, the pizza sucks.

The beer scene is great.

There is minimal crime.

The airport is small, but gets little traffic, planes to Denver, MSP, and Chicago mean you can travel pretty easily.
