Minneapolis small-business owners pick up the pieces after night of rage, destruction- "COVID didn't close me, but this is going to close me," says one shop owner

You know what? I'm glad the national guard is here. We had an organized protest. If the rioters only targeted government buildings, it wouldn't have bothered me. But now people's lives are ruined because human scum ransacked their businesses, destroyed their property or their place of work.

It blows my mind people are blaming the cops for this destruction, as if the cops are in control of their actions. It's a toddler throwing a temper tantrum with no accountability. It feels like people are just projecting their own prejudices into the matter. Things like race-baiting, that every single cop alive deserves to die. It's all generalist bullshit. I'm glad the national guard will at least help hinder this senseless destruction.

There isn't a single logical argument to be made that this sort of thing is okay.
