MonteCristo | Monte's Musings: Tryndamere Posts on Reddit

Second time in a row Monte is very hit and miss with the issues he's talking about.

  • Starts out deducting that u/Tryndamere 's statement is not founded on any numbers, goes into detail about how he talked to other owners (some? any? all of them?) therefor Riot can't even have those, then goes on saying he himself doesn't have the numbers for his next accusations, but he won't need them anyways since you can deduct it.

He copied Tryndamere's mistake 1:1, that does not deserve praise, that deserves an irony award.

  • Presents the connection between skin sales and eSports as a revelation.

The tone in which he speaks about it and the rhetoric he uses WILL make you feel like you've heard it for the first time. You didn't. Riot even made several videos about it.

Reddit itself has also fallen for this already, quoting an original comment from Ghostcrawler ("We don't really know what we're doing") and taking it seriously, but on the other hand portraying them as perfect, slick and well organized financial geniuses.

They are not.

They have no clue what they're doing.

We're giving them way too much credit.
